Brokk 70
Brokk · Demolition · Shipping since 2019
Last updated: 2026-04
Summary
The Brokk 70 is a 560 kg tracked, tethered-electric demolition robot controlled remotely via SmartRemote at distances up to 300 m. It covers structural demolition, soft-strip and selective salvage, and material sorting using swappable hydraulic attachments including breakers, crushers, grapples, and drum cutters; the operator stays clear of the demolition zone while the crew handles site prep and debris removal beyond the arm's reach. The Brokk 70 has shipped since its April 2019 Bauma launch, with the Brokk 70+ successor (IP65, OTA updates, MyBrokk connectivity) introduced at World of Concrete in January 2024.
How it works on your site
Soft-Strip / Selective Salvage
Grapple and clamshell bucket attachments (including the G32 sorting/demolition grapple) handle soft demolition and stripping of interior structures. The operator controls all functions remotely from behind the SmartRemote; the crew handles perimeter work and material transport beyond the arm's reach.
Structural Demolition
The BHB 105 hydraulic breaker runs primary concrete demolition at 750 to 2,300 blows per minute; a lighter BHB 55 breaker is also compatible for less reinforced work. The CC260 concrete crusher provides a lower-noise, lower-dust alternative with free rotation for rebar up to 16 mm diameter. Optional heat shielding, forced-draft cooling, and steel track pads extend the machine into high-temperature environments such as furnace demolition. The crew handles areas beyond the 3.2 m vertical and 2.7 m horizontal reach of the arm.
Material Sorting & Segregation
Clamshell bucket, multi-purpose grapple, and G32 sorting grapple attachments sort material and debris on site. The same attachment set used for soft-strip work doubles for segregation tasks.
