How it works on your site
All3's Mantis is a battery-powered, four-legged robot built to install and fasten cross-laminated timber (CLT) panels on site, as one part of All3's own system of AI design, robotic factory and on-site assembly. In the only footage of it working, filmed in All3's London robotics lab and published on 21 October 2025, it climbs stairs, moves through tight spaces, changes tools and drives screws into CLT. The robot is recorded as shipping, and All3 wrote on 20 August 2026 that 'today, a single robot operates autonomously' and that its first building breaks ground later in 2026; no customer and no live-site use are on record.
