How it works on your site

The HCR170D is a compact, remote-controlled tracked demolition robot from Anhui Hitech Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., driven by a 22 kW electric motor that runs on site mains power. An operator on a radio or cable remote control box works the arm and its interchangeable tool to strip out fit-out, break down concrete structure and handle debris, covering three demolition subtasks: soft-strip and selective salvage, structural demolition, and material sorting and segregation. Hitech lists the HCR170D as a shipping product in its HCR series and offers it for export; RIC found no documented deployment or named buyer.

Material Sorting & Segregation

Sorting splits broken concrete, steel and other debris into separate streams once the structure is down. On the HCR170D that handling runs through the buckets and grapples on Hitech's attachment list, moved by the operator from the remote control box.

Soft-Strip / Selective Salvage

Soft-strip clears a building of its non-structural contents and salvageable material ahead of structural work. The HCR170D's part in it rests on the interchangeable attachments Hitech lists for it, such as buckets, hydraulic shears and breakers, with the operator directing every move from the remote control box.

Structural Demolition

Hitech says the HCR170D carries out crushing and demolition work with interchangeable tools, naming floor-by-floor demolition and wall breaking on buildings. Hitech also markets it for rotary kiln and metallurgical furnace maintenance, mining and tunnelling, and the nuclear industry, where the nuclear use needs Hitech's optional nuclear protection. Hitech says the machine's size lets it enter narrow doorways and furnace mouths.
