How it works on your site
The HCR500D is an electric, remote-controlled tracked demolition robot from Anhui Hitech Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., tethered to site power and driven by an operator from a portable remote control box. Hitech says it breaks, shears and crushes concrete with the matching tool on its quick coupler, and it covers three demolition subtasks: soft-strip and selective salvage, structural demolition, and material sorting and segregation. Hitech lists the HCR500D as a shipping product in its 12-model HCR series; RIC found no documented deployment or named customer.
Material Sorting & Segregation
Sorting splits broken concrete, steel and other debris into separate streams once the structure is down. On the HCR500D that handling runs through the grapple, bucket or crusher fitted to the quick coupler, all on Hitech's attachment list, with the operator moving the material by remote control.
Soft-Strip / Selective Salvage
Soft-strip clears a building of its non-structural contents ahead of structural work. The HCR500D's part in it rests on the attachments Hitech lists for the quick coupler, such as grapples, buckets and hydraulic shears, with every move made by an operator on the remote control box.
Structural Demolition
Hitech says the HCR500D takes on large-section concrete beams, columns and high-strength cement floor slabs. The work depends on the tool fitted: a breaker for breaking, hydraulic shears for shearing, a crusher for crushing, with drilling and tamping also on Hitech's list. The operator runs the arm, the tool and the tracks from a portable remote control box.
