How it works on your site
The ExR-2.5 is a tracked, remotely supervised inspection robot that runs inspection rounds inside ATEX/IECEx Zone 1 hazardous areas of process facilities and charges autonomously within Zone 1. Sensor options cover methane, H2S, hydrogen and VOC gas detection plus PTZ, thermal and acoustic cameras, aimed at oil and gas, LNG, hydrogen and chemical plants. The OEM dates the ExR-2.5 to 2025, and it launched in North America in June 2026 with UL 6260 Class I Div 2 certification through distributor MicroWatt; field evidence so far is vendor-reported or comes from ExR-1 and ExR-2 pilots at process plants, and none of it is on a construction site.
