How it works on your site

The Scout 137 Drone System is a tethered inspection drone from ScoutDI that flies inside confined, GPS-denied spaces such as tanks, tunnels and dam compartments, drawing power and data from a ground station over the tether. A pilot flies it from a tablet outside the space, recording 4K video and LiDAR point clouds, and optional payloads add ultrasonic thickness readings and detection of 14 flammable gases. In Trondheim's Strindheim road tunnel, Statens vegvesen, the Norwegian road authority, reports a centimetre-level 3D model in about two hours from a pre-Gen 3 unit, where earlier surveys took measurements only every 5 m. Gen 3 launched in June 2025 and is shipping. ScoutDI does not list construction as a target sector.
