How it works on your site
The Skydio 2+ is a compact autonomous quadcopter that navigates by its onboard cameras, flown manually from a controller or phone, or launched from a Skydio Dock. It carries out indoor and outdoor visual inspection and progress capture, recording video and photos along routes and schedules set in Skydio Cloud. At an Obayashi construction site in Minato-ku, Tokyo, the Skydio 2+ flew indoor progress patrols from a Skydio Dock with no pilot on site, and Obayashi and NTT Communications report the time to patrol and record the site falling from 1 hour to 10 minutes over 56 weekday-night flights. Skydio says the 2+ Enterprise kit remained available as of 2023-10-31, after consumer-kit sales were discontinued.
