How it works on your site

The Voliro T is a tiltable-rotor inspection drone that holds a non-destructive testing probe in contact with steel at height, pressing with a vendor-stated force of up to 30 N while its rotors pitch through ±90°. Interchangeable payloads cover ultrasonic wall thickness, high-temperature ultrasonics to 260 °C, couplant-free EMAT, coating thickness, pulsed eddy current through insulation and wind turbine lightning-protection continuity, all on in-service assets: flare stacks, storage tanks, cement kilns, transmission towers and turbine blades. A pilot flies takeoff, transit, approach and the measurement itself, with a supervised final approach standard on hardware v6; Voliro AG has shipped the T since its November 2022 launch, on subscription only, with 25 deployments on RIC's record.
