How it works on your site

The WLTR is a wheeled, tethered-electric masonry robot that autonomously lays Porotherm Robot Ready bricks to construct load-bearing and partition walls up to 3.5 m high. It covers one subtask within masonry: unit placement of brick and block, using Dryfix adhesive foam or thin-bed mortar on a 125 mm modular system; all finishing, pointing, lintels, and complex geometry stay with the crew. The WLTR has been shipping since 2020, operated as a Robot-as-a-Service by green.build, a Wienerberger AG subsidiary.

Unit Placement (Brick/Block/Stone)

The WLTR picks Porotherm Robot Ready bricks from pallets positioned alongside the wall line, places them per the virtual wall model loaded on the operator's tablet, and bonds each course with Dryfix adhesive foam or thin-bed mortar. A cross-line laser maintains horizontal alignment while onboard sensors monitor wall parameters in real time. One operator controls the robot via tablet while a supporting worker manages material supply; corners, lintels, and openings remain crew work.
