The Canvas 1550 is a large drywall-finishing machine on a mobile lift chassis (ENR) that sprays joint compound onto fire-taped drywall and sands it to a Level 4 or Level 5 finish, on walls up to 15 ft 5 in (Canvas). Canvas positions it for large commercial spaces with long uninterrupted walls. Canvas offered it for lease alongside the 1200CX in 2024 and 2025, and 2024 press called it the earlier model ("the previous generation", ENR); one contractor, RQ Construction, is on record using it, and no source states its current status.
