ANDY is an autonomous interior painting robot that maps wall surfaces in 3D and applies coatings without human intervention once positioned. It covers one subtask within interior finishing: painting on commercial and industrial interior walls. Finish Robotics operates as a 4-to-6-person team offering the robot on a Robot-as-a-Service rental model.
Painting
ANDY scans each wall with onboard AI to build a 3D surface map before applying paint autonomously. An operator positions the robot on the wall; from there it maps and coats without further intervention. The painting crew continues to handle prep, edges, trim, and ceiling work while the robot runs the broad wall surfaces.
