How it works on your site
Beijing Fangshi Robotics' Ceramic Floor Tile Laying Robot is a large wheeled machine that spreads tile adhesive on a prepared floor, then picks ceramic tiles from an onboard rack and sets each one with an arm guided by a visual alignment system. It lays thin-bed floor tile up to 750 × 1500 mm and 47.5 kg per tile, and by Fangshi's own workflow the crew still wets and slurry-brushes the substrate, loads the map and work points, sets reference and elevation lines, mixes the adhesive, restocks tiles and moves the robot between zones. The robot is pre-commercial: Fangshi showed it as an in-development product in July 2025, and its only listed sites are two projects in China entered in April and August 2026, neither of which names a customer.
