How it works on your site

The KOBOT 1225 is a mains-powered gantry cutting station, assembled on site from transport boxes, that saws Fermacell, plasterboard and other interior boards up to 25 mm thick and up to 1,250 × 2,500 mm. It takes the cutting step off the board hanging crew: the operator types measurements into the KOBOTS app and stands each board in the frame, the robot makes the cut, and measuring, hanging and finishing stay with the carpenters. The 1225 is shipping, is the second largest of four KOBOT sizes and has 2 confirmed deployments at Danish carpentry firms; KOBOTS Company ApS was formed in 2023 as an employee buyout of the bankrupt original company.

Board Hanging

The operator enters each board's dimensions in the KOBOTS app, which plans the cuts to limit offcuts, and stands the board upright in the gantry frame; the cutting head runs along the rails and saws it while the operator carries finished pieces to the installers. The rest of the crew measures the walls and hangs, fixes and finishes every board.
