How it works on your site

The KOBOT 1230 is a mains-powered robotic cutting table, assembled on site from transport boxes, that saws plasterboard, Fermacell, Troldtekt and other sheet boards up to 25 mm thick across a 1.25 × 3.05 m bed. It takes over the cutting step for board hanging crews: the operator enters measurements in the KOBOTS app and feeds each board, the robot makes the cut, and hanging, fixing and finishing stay with the carpenters. The 1230 is shipping and is the largest of four KOBOT models (912, 925, 1225 and 1230) from Odense-based KOBOTS, with UK sales through distributor Loop Technology.

Board Hanging

The robot takes over the board cutting that carpenters otherwise do bent over a plunge saw, sawing plasterboard, Fermacell, Troldtekt, plywood and other sheet boards on a floor-standing table. An H-class vacuum with Longopac bags collects the dust at the blade, and the carpenters keep hanging and fixing every board.
