How it works on your site
The KOBOT 925, also sold as the Amigo 925, is a stationary robotic cutting station that sits on the floor of an interior fit-out and cuts plasterboard, fiber gypsum and cement board up to 900 x 2500 mm to dimensions the operator enters in a smartphone app. It takes over the cutting step of board hanging: the operator loads a board and picks a template or types the measurements, and the robot cuts while the operator hangs the previous board, with measuring, carrying and fixing left to the crew. At the Ny Sondervang nursing home, one operator at the cutting station kept four installers supplied across 11,500 square metres of Fermacell (vendor case study with Hansson & Knudsen). The 925 is shipping from KOBOTS Company ApS, the Odense company formed in a 2023 employee buyout after the original KOBOTS went bankrupt, alongside the 912, 1225 and 1230, with UK distribution through Loop Technology and documented users in Denmark and Norway.
Board Hanging
The operator slides a board onto the cutting bed, picks the material and a template or measurements in the KOBOTS app, and the robot makes the cut on its own while the operator hangs the previous board. Measuring on the wall, carrying boards and fixing them stay with the crew. The 925 is the smaller-board model in the range; larger sheets go to the 1225 and 1230.
