How it works on your site
Gole Robotics, a South Korean startup founded in 2023 out of POSCO Group's in-house venture programme, builds autonomous robots that carry construction materials to the work floor by riding the site's existing elevators. Its current GL-1 is a wheeled AMR for boxed materials that has called, boarded and left a site elevator without a person at demonstrations, through a separate EVW-1 unit attached to the button panel; the ND-3, a four-legged chassis that straddles and lifts loads inside its frame, has no recorded site event. In December 2025 the company said its hardware and software both still need further development, with 2026 targeted as its first revenue year; its four recorded site events in Korea are one demonstration and three trials, and only one of them names the GL-1.
