Propeller Aero · Inspection · Shipping since 2014
Last updated: 2026-04
Summary
The Propeller Platform is a cloud-hosted drone photogrammetry and site analytics service for earthworks, road, and mining projects. Teams fly their own drones, upload photos, and receive georeferenced 3D site models, cut/fill volumes, stockpile measurements, design conformance overlays, and progress reports with a guaranteed 24-hour processing turnaround. Propeller has been shipping since 2014 and serves 21 documented customers across the US, Europe, and Australia.
How it works on your site
Drone Survey and Aerial Documentation
The platform processes uploaded drone photos into orthophotos, point clouds, and digital surface models without pre-mapping or CAD preparation. Composite stitching handles corridor projects too long for a single flight. Stockpile and quarry volumes are measured directly in the platform, and scheduled daily reports deliver volume heatmaps and load counts to the team.
Hazard Identification and Unsafe Behavior Detection
AI-driven Haul Road Analysis, added through the February 2026 Spacesium acquisition, automates centerline detection, berm height measurement, road width, and grade calculations from drone survey data. The feature is mining and earthworks-focused.
