How it works on your site

The ACR Robot 557 MPA XL is a tracked, radio-controlled hydrodemolition robot from Conjet AB that removes concrete with high-pressure water jets fed by a separate high-pressure pump. Its multi-purpose extended arm cuts horizontal, vertical, overhead and below-track surfaces, and a Stability Control System on every unit monitors the feed beam position and warns the operator. The 557 MPA XL is shipping; its one named user is the Panama Canal Authority, from Conjet's own February 2025 announcement, and RIC found no independent record of the robot at work.

Concrete Removal and Repair

The operator positions the robot and swings the multi-purpose arm to the face being cut from the Conjet ONE remote, then the robot runs automated removal passes while the main body slides back for stability on vertical and overhead work. The crew still sets up and runs the separate high-pressure pump, keeps the water supply going, and contains the wastewater and concrete debris the jet produces.
