Summary

The Drillcorpio D3 is a scissor-lift-mounted robotic drilling arm that automates overhead drilling and anchor installation on concrete ceilings and walls. It handles hole drilling in sizes from 5 mm to 40 mm, flush and wedge anchor installation from M8 to M20, and integrated dust collection in a single automated pass; layout, lift repositioning, and non-concrete surfaces stay with the crew. The D3 is shipping with zero confirmed deployments documented by RIC.

Overhead Drilling & Anchoring

The D3 drills holes and installs anchors from a standard scissor lift without modifications to the lift platform. An auto-tilting control adjusts the drill head between wall and ceiling orientations so the operator does not need to manually reposition for angle transitions. Real-time rebar sensing detects reinforcement during drilling; the crew continues to handle lift repositioning between holes, layout coordination, and work on non-concrete surfaces.
